We are Genesis BBG #2350 of the Nassau-Suffolk Region. Our chapter is primarily for teens who live in Commack/Dix Hills. Genesis allows you to bond with other girls in grades 8-12 through the meetings we have twice a month. The meetings will consist of fun activities involving sisterhood, recreation, fundraising, social action, Judaism, or community service. 

 

Our board is used to make sure the chapter runs as perfectly as possible. Our N'siah, or president, is Ryan Fenster. She oversees all the work done and is the face of the chapter. Shosh Kofler is the S'ganit and she runs and plans the chapter meetings. Naomi Amram is the Aym-ha Chaverot and she recruits girls to join our chapter and tells prospects when and where our meetings are. Sami Cohon is our Sh'licha and she helps members connect with their Jewish roots and runs all the Shabbat meetings. Julia Megibow is the Mazkirah. She advertises and makes fliers for the meetings and promotes Genesis on social media, as well as making monthly newsletters. Skylar Nevins is the Katvanit. She helps make newsletters of what is happening in our chapter and she keeps attendance at meetings. Avery Cohen is the Gizborit of our chapter and she is in charge of fundraising and making clothing (shuk) for the chapter. Kenzi Levine is our Smecha and she makes everyone in the chapter feel happy and welcome at meetings and also wishes the girls a happy birthday. Our board is so excited to have an extremely successful programming year.
